The Bayerische Akademie für Fernsehen e.V. is established as a non-profit-making institute and receives public funding from the Free State of Bavaria, the Local Authorities of Unterföhring and Ismaning, the Munich Rural District Authority and the Bavarian State Centre for New Media BLM.
